Keynote Speaker: Pastor Michael Denton
Born and raised in San Jose, Pastor Michael Denton was introduced to the ministry of CEF in his early teens and attended Christian Youth in Action training in order to serve at 5-Day Clubs during the summer. It was at one of these clubs, right here in the Bay Area, that Michael was able to lead a child to Christ for the first time.
In his over 30 years of ministry, Michael has been a worship pastor, children’s pastor, and youth and family pastor. He now serves as lead pastor to a small church near Pismo Beach, right across the street from an elementary school with a Good News Club!

Can you tell me more about Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF)?
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is a global organization whose mission is to evangelize children with the gospel and disciple them in the Word of God. We partner with local Bible-believing and mission-minded churches and believers to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. CEF has many different ministries for children, but the primary ones are the Good News Club® and the 5-Day Club®. Our strategy is to train volunteers to share the gospel with children (through Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™), Junior leadership training, “Go and Tell,” and “Teaching Children Effectively™” training classes), to equip them with quality materials for their clubs, and to support them in their on-going outreaches.
CEF NorCal Silicon Valley is our local chapter and has the largest population in Northern California covering San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties.
Is there a cost to attend the event?
No. This is a complimentary dinner.
Are there details for the night of the event?
Besides a three-course dinner, there will be a program including a speaker, testimonies, and a video presentation. This is our annual fundraising dinner and the event is for adults only.
