Training for Kids

Sharing the Gospel is not limited to adults — kids can do it too!  In fact, at our outreach events we have seen a significant increase in children choosing to listen to the Gospel message when they see they can hear it from their peers, and many have come to Christ.  Go & Tell and Junior Leadership are amazing opportunities for kids to learn what it means to be a leader and how to serve God. These programs will help equip your child to share the Gospel through the Wordless Book, and challenge them in their walk with the Lord. It is part of our mission to train up the next generation for Christ.

Kids age 8 – 10 are equipped to tell their friends and family about Jesus at an age-appropriate level, using the colors of the Wordless Book.

We train students what it means to be a leader in serving God’s kingdom through Good News Club or Sunday School. Designed for children age 10 and up, Junior Leaders will learn the basics of how to share the Gospel with others, and participate in group teaching of a Bible verse. Returning Junior Leaders will learn how to share the Gospel using object lessons.

Fely: I learned how to teach the memory verses and had a good overview on how to do the Wordless Book. I also learned how to do the Gospel spotlight. The leaders were very helpful and made all the games so much fun!!!

Good News Club Teacher: One of my 4th grade boys had been acting out because of his parents’ divorce. I knew he had potential, so I promised him he could go to Junior Leadership if he behaved in Club for the next month. He came back from the training enthusiastic and ready to serve!
