The School year is rapidly approaching, and pandemic or not, CEF NorCal will not stop spreading the Gospel to the boys and girls of Northern California. I could not be prouder of our Staff and Volunteers and how they have navigated these trying times. Through all of this they have stayed true to our calling of reaching boys and girls with the Gospel. Things like 5 day clubs, CYIA, and other types of outreach ministry have all been executed with a tremendous amount of love and effectiveness.
Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in where trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, just about anywhere else children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission.
5-Day Club® is an exciting, fun-filled, 90 minute club, held each day for five consecutive days. It includes: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, meaningful songs, and life-changing Scripture memorization.
Did you know that 80% of people who trust in Christ as Savior do so before reaching the age of 14?
One of the ways CEF NORCAL is reaching children in Northern and Central California is through our after-school Good New Clubs. During the normal school year, we have over 300 clubs that meet on a weekly basis.
If you are not currently, will you pray about becoming a financial partner to help us in reaching the approximately 4.6 million children in Northern and Central California that have not had an opportunity to hear the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ
24 years ago, at a home-based Good News Club® that Nadya I taught in Turlock, I asked the children if they knew why we celebrated Easter. “It’s someone up in heaven’s birthday” they replied. Their answer stunned me. They sincerely had no clue that the...
A key piece to leadership is the ability to cast vision. Casting vision is taking your objective and sharing it in a way that allows people to join in. No two people will cast vision the same way, but you can judge a tree by...
I thank God that He has given me grace to be able to go on in life and bless many other children through teaching Good News Club for many years. Today was extra exciting for me in that after not being able to teach Good...
While many businesses and ministries have been forced to shut down during this time of shelter-in-place, CEF NorCal, by God’s grace, has found new and creative ways to continue reaching children with the Gospel of hope and salvation. The Silicon Valley chapter was the first...

I started to attend Good News Club® in Sioux City, Iowa when I was about four years old. My older brother went, and I liked to go along. I so clearly remember our teacher, dear Mrs. Dora Lock and her helper Betty Ritchie. She had GNC® in the basement of her home. I remember the day she had the lesson on the crucifixion like it was yesterday. She talked about how Jesus died to pay the price for our sins and all we had to do was believe on Him and accept His free gift. I was ready to accept him that day! I attended for several years and the Scripture that I memorized and the songs we sang have stuck with me to this day. I am forever grateful for my time spent in GNC and am loving being part of it again.
If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God.
But these dear boys and girls--there is, something to be made out of them. If now they yield themselves to Christ they may have a long, happy, and holy day before them in which they may serve God with all then hearts. Who knows what glory God may have of them? Heathen lands may call them blessed. Whole nations may be enlightened by them. O brethren and sisters, let us estimate children at their true valuation, and we shall not keep them back, but we shall be eager to lead them to Jesus at once.
