12 DAYS TO GO I took this picture in my backyard this weekend. It is thriving with the rain and intermittent sunshine. It made me so happy to count 12 blooms. The color is vibrant and the Gerber’s are so healthy. What a beautiful gift after weeks of rain, and even many areas of destruction throughout the state. God’s Word is full of examples of people experiencing difficulties but then, He provides a victory. It might be physical healing, an unexpected child, a battle won by the Lord’s means. Storms have been coming weekly to the San Joaquin Valley. We have experienced 11 Atmospheric Rivers…and it is raining today. The Sierra Nevada Mountains have the biggest snow pack in the United States. Last November, no one expected such a turn of events for the drought over the last 4 years. I share this because we know God works in mysterious ways. He is faithful in the small details of our life and in the big challenges of our ministry. We are averaging donations of $995 per day. We need $3,225 average per day for the whole month to reach our goal of $100,000. He alone has reached and exceeded this goal for the last two years. We trust Him to provide again this year. What means will He use this year to lead us to our goal? We are doing our part, communicating in various ways, sharing the need and praying for His miraculous provision. Will you do your part and donate today? Every gift, regardless of the amount, brings us closer to the goal and is a blessing from our Lord. Thank you for your prayerful consideration! |
