Summer Ministry Launch

Storyland – June 10!

Arianna Knee, Summer Missionary, sharing the Two Birthday’s object lesson with the children. Many children learn about Jesus for the very first time at such events.

This event was held at Storyland and volunteer Debbie Shay is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children who have never heard it before this divine appointment!

Nancy Stephenson is another faithful volunteer for outreach events. Deborah Naigaga, Training Coordinator and Field MIssionary led this team. On this day, 150 children were reached for Christ and 44 made professions of faith in Jesus as their Savior.

Dickey Playground – June 11

Kids love to play and create things with Lego’s. It’s a perfect introduction to tell them God created the whole world, and the most important part of His creation is the child. Thirty children heard the Good News and 5 professed faith in Jesus!

Many children are not in church on Sunday morning. Aaron Keller, Field Missionary, led a team offering the Lego Party object lesson.

The children start by making anything they want. Then, they are asked to make something from nothing.

Using the Wordless Book method, they learn that their sin separates them from God and there isn’t anything they can do to change that. But God loved them so much, He sent Jesus- the one and only way to have their sins forgiven.

Praise God for:

  1. The children He brought to each event this weekend! 180 children heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ! There were 49 who professed faith in Jesus.
  2. The staff and volunteers who served so faithfully and willingly, some for 2 hours longer than scheduled.

Pray to God for:

  1. The 7 youth who will be trained on Tuesday. May they use these new skills for the rest of their life leading children and adults to know Jesus personally.
  2. Access to Clovis Unified School District right after school for Good News Club.
  3. More volunteers to apply for fall and more events to be confirmed for the summer.
