Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like “free” “personalized” “complimentary” or “customized.” A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like “for a limited time only” or “only 7 remaining”!

Good News Club Updates

Newman

The Good News Club® at Von Renner Elementary in Newman began on Thursday, October 5th. This is a brand-new location! The first week eleven students attended. Pray for the team from Newman First Baptist as they reach out to their community, and minister to the children there.

Waterford

A new Good News Club at Moon Elementary in Waterford (also a new location) is slated to start on Wednesday, November 1st. The team from Waterford Assembly of God has been trained, and the registration forms have been sent out. Pray as we get ready to help them start!

Soulsbyville/Sonora

Several ladies from the Christian Heights Church in Sonora have expressed interest in re-starting a GNC® at Soulsbyville Elementary or Belleview Elementary (Sonora). Both Clubs existed pre-covid and have not yet come back in person. As we near holiday season, pray for them as they prepare to reach the children in their community in January.

Accepting Applications Through November 1, 2023

the wife of CEF’s founder, Jesse Overholtzer , found it in a bookstore operated by Harry Ironside. Fifteen years later, CEF added the green cover and began mass producing the book.

A few years ago, a children’s pastor looked at me and said, “You are the Wordless Book people”. It certainly is true that CEF has used the WB tool for all of its history, but it was in use long before CEF came into existence!

But a tool is only that. A hammer doesn’t get the credit for a completed house. It only gets the privilege of being used in the process. We are just pleased that we get to train people to use this tool in sharing the Gospel!
