Since childhood, I’ve felt a strong calling to support children’s wellbeing. I later came to know that my life’s work would be serving children and their families with the love of Jesus, and I dreamed about how I would get there. In 2021, I was working a successful tech job, but was lacking passion to fuel it. After a sabbatical, God laid it on my heart that it was time to reach children with the gospel. A year later, an Instagram ad introduced me to CEF. My heart leaped inside. I was amazed to browse the local chapter’s website and find a role that I qualified for. My experience since joining the team in June has been amazing. I have been challenged to apply myself to learn how to engage children with the gospel message. At the end of my first week of training, I was able to help two young boys begin their journeys walking with Jesus. Using my small efforts and imperfect speech, God changed the eternal path of two young people. I was hooked – children’s evangelism works and is incredibly fruitful!
Even before I joined CEF, God connected me with passionate believers around San Francisco with a heart to seek his kingdom in this region. We have already begun to see how God will use these connections to reach children here. |
