March Mercy is Underway

Dear Chelsea,

It’s the 11th day of March. Are you praying with us that the Lord will rain down His favor for March Mercy?

Have you asked the Lord what He wants you to donate so that children can meet Jesus?

None of us has the individual ability, might or power to accomplish the goal to raise $100,000 this month, but our Lord can! He can do anything. He created and owns everything. In Psalm 50:15, He declares, “Call on me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall glorify me.” Our desire is to glorify the Lord and shout praises of joy for in Him alone do we trust!

In addition to praying, and making your personal donation, will you help us by joining the fundraising strategy of CEF: Ask God and Tell His People. Can you share how important it is to reach children for Christ with friends, family and neighbors? Call them and send them our emails. Introducing children to Jesus is the most important life changing event that will endure through eternity!

Good News Club Student

Recently, in my GNC I noticed a new boy come into the club. I asked him if he was registered and he said, “No, I am just waiting with my mom.” His younger sister was registered and in attendance. His mom was observing the club to see if she was comfortable with the program and he sat with her. As the club progressed this boy became more and more interested in the activities and the lesson. We noticed he was listening to the Gospel message and after I gave the invitation he went for counseling and trusted Jesus that day to be his Savior! While he was being counseled, his mom asked me if I had another registration form so she could enroll her son for the club. She went onto tell me she really liked our program and appreciated how the teaching was interesting and engaging for her children. This boy went from not wanting to join the Good News Club to joining and receiving Jesus to be his Savior!

He brought his Bible every week after he received it. When our club ended last week the boy came up to me and said, “Mrs. Castle, can we go to your church?” This was the boy who didn’t want to join the club! But, he came faithfully to the GNC, received a Bible, actively participated and now wants to go to church! I spoke with his mom about visiting our church and she seems sincerely interested. Please pray the family chooses to go to church.
