Hello, my name is Adam.

I wanted to share with you what a blessing the Good News Club (GNC) has had on my family.  It started a little over ten years ago. My daughter was in elementary school at Oraze in Clovis Unified. Without my knowledge, she started attending the GNC after school. I know my wife would have been the one to encourage her to attend.

As for me I was too busy in my addictions. I was living in a world of bad influences, unapproachable and the opposite of a good influence. My children and wife suffered a lot during this time. But we know the God we serve is a mighty God and always has a bigger plan. The Lord used the GNC as a safe place and an opportunity for her to know Him and to have faith that He can do all things, including changing the heart of her father.

A year or so later I had an encounter with our Lord and Savior and he saved my life and restored my family! A few years later, my son started attending the GNC at Oraze. The teacher at the time was Aaron Keller, who by the grace of God has become a great friend of mine today. He reached out to me and told me that my son had been inviting kids to GNC and he was such a great kid. He even noticed my son give up his chair for one of the leaders. That news is amazing to hear – that your children are an encouragement to others. 

I have watched my children blossom in the Lord and I know that this was part of their foundation in Christ. I want to thank God for the Good News Club where the first fruits was planted. Like I said before, I didn’t even know that my daughter was learning about the Lord at school. But I am grateful she found somewhere safe to go. She needed a Savior and good people with loving hearts to show her the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am blessed to see what the Good News club has done for my children, and I am praying for the same to happen to others so that seeds will be planted in our young ones and they will grow and flourish. Thank you for everything you do.

Good News Club – Exeter

A little girl came to Club for the first time in March with two of her friends. During the Bible lesson, we told of Jesus death and resurrection. She had never heard of Jesus but as she listened she had tears in her eyes. When the invitation to believe in Jesus as her Savior came, she went forward and prayed to receive Him. She was very serious and emotional. The next week she brought her sister with her to Good News Club!

3. The little girl in Exeter who trusted in Jesus as her Savior and brought her sister the next week. She is a symbol of many children who believed in Jesus so far this school year.

Pray with us for:

1. The Lord to close the gap in our financial goal for March Mercy.
2. More volunteers to apply and be trained for May. We request a shorter Good News Club just for the month of May so that many more children have an opportunity to meet Jesus.
3. The Lord to reveal Himself to more children, before GNC’s end for this semester, so they begin an eternal relationship with Jesus as their Savior!
