We all want our children to exceed our current accomplishments as they grow up: attend better university, get a better job, live a better life. I often hear Christian parents passing this vision to their children, and I am wondering what Jesus’ vision is for these children. As Jesus spent the last several minutes with His disciples, His told His followers what His vision is, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” (Mark 16:15) The instruction is very clear that we are to “GO” and “PROCLAIM” the gospel! Jesus never said, “wait until you have time”; “in your convenience”; “only to those you know very well”; “when you retire”; “when you are more mature.” My experience has taught me the greatest and boldest evangelists are children. They have the greatest compassion toward those who are lost, they bravely share the gospel without shame, and they are the best at making friends in a short time! We can train the children to be effective in sharing the gospel at a young age that will last for a lifetime. They can take the message of salvation to places that we can’t go—at their homes, into their classrooms, wherever they go! “Go and Tell” Training will equip children 8-year-old and up to share the gospel through interactive and fun filled learning experiences. While we pass on the vision of what we would like our children to grow up to be, is it also your desire to see them grow up to be world-changing followers of Christ through the power of the gospel? Sign up today online at www.cefnorcal.org/sv for our fall “Go and Tell” Training. Let’s raise the next generation of disciples! |
