Hello Chelsea,

We are so grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s golf tournament! Our hope is to continue the tradition Marsha Rogers started to honor her husband, Coach Darryl Rogers. Marsha’s desire was to raise funds to support Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) – – a ministry dear to Marsha and Darryl’s heart. All proceeds go towards reaching children for Christ in Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings counties. We reached 4,324 children in the last 12 months. With YOUR support, we will continue to reach thousands of children again this year.

Over the past six years, this was the most profitable golf tournament! So many people contributed to help make this event a success:

• Golfers who played with us
• Volunteers donating cash and gift cards for the raffle
• Sponsors who gave sacrificially to benefit the children
• Hole Sponsors demonstrating concern for the children
• Dedicated staff and the local governing committee who worked tirelessly
• Local celebrities, Paul Loeffler and Cam Worrell who made the event fun for everyone
• Barb’s Cakery provided yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast
• Dragonfly Golf Club was a great host with amazing sandwiches for lunch

Good News Club (GNC) volunteers Louis Jamerson, Brian Villarama, Gary Lee, along with Field Missionary Aaron Keller, demonstrated Gospel object lessons used in CEF outreach events.

Larry Powell (Golf Committee Co-Chair) and Jim Atrat (Golf Committee Member) oversaw the Putting Contest.

Ruth Diaz (Field Missionary) and Rhonda Temple (Committee Member) helped at the Celebrity Hole.

We are so grateful to Paul Loeffler and Cam Worrell for their service as our Celebrity Challengers.

Tim Leary got a Hole in One! The first ever since the golf tournament was started.

The Tong Family has supported this event every year. We are so happy to see dads, sons, uncles and nephews golf together in this year’s tournament.
