The Upward Call Auction

We joyfully invite you to join us online the week of November 16th as we have our Upward Call Auction. “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” We know that our highest prize is Jesus himself, and that so many children here on the Central Coast don’t yet know our precious Lord and Savior. Why not help support the cause of bringing the Gospel to these children while also having fun at our Fall Auction? Funds from this auction will go directly towards our expansion into San Benito and Santa Cruz counties.

We already have some incredible items to bid on – from an overnight at Chaminade Spa to Mount Hermon Adventures. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this!

As the Bible lesson came to a close and the teacher offered the invitation, God was on the move, and eight children responded to the invitation! Our Good News Club teacher, Carrie, wisely said “This is the priority now” and they paused club to counsel these 8 children for salvation. What a joy to see God at work in this club! For a long while, this club was tiny- with attendance of only 4 or 5 students. Yet the team there has been faithful in their witness and are now experiencing such a season of plenty! With over 20 students registered for the club and 9 total professions of faith in only the first month, we are blown away with these exciting reports. Dear friends, that is such a great picture of how God moves through our faithfulness. Sometimes, we might see very few results from our efforts, and sometimes we will see a flood, but God is the one in control. He is the one with all knowledge, and He is the one who brings about the heart change in those we are ministering to. Be encouraged! God will use you where you offer your time, gifts, and talents up to Him. 

One thing that I love most about our Good News Clubs is that we are committed to sharing the gospel each week; and not merely sharing it but offering the children in our clubs the opportunity to respond. We don’t know what the next day will hold for these precious children and so we tell them of God’s invitation to come to Him every week. It is the most incredible thing to see God move in their hearts. This week we are praising God for these 8 children who are now our brothers and sisters in Christ!

Nothing will stop God from reaching His children with the Gospel!
