This is what Love looks like in Action

This Valentine’s Day, I’m reminded that true acts of love aren’t just found in movies and books and Hallmark cards — they’re done every day by people like you! As our partners in ministry, you have helped reach over 1256 children this school year with the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, and they are no longer strangers to the everlasting love of God!

Good News Club Stories

Ravi is always eager, full of energy, participating in answering questions and sometimes intense with his gaze. When I was teaching the lesson this week, I sensed that the Holy Spirit was ministering to him through the questions he asked and the responses he gave to my questions. When I gave the invitation to believe in Jesus, he was one of the kids who raised his hand. During the counseling, he genuinely realized that he was a sinner. When I asked him if he would like to trust in Jesus. He said yes and prayed in his own words. As I guided him, my heart was moved at his heartfelt prayer.

(Glassbrook Good News Club started from a Christmas Party Club.)

I was talking with the mother of one of our club members who accepted Christ a couple weeks ago. When I told the mom that Natalia had decided to trust Jesus as her Savior, the mom got very emotional and teared up a little, excited to hear of Natalia’s decision. We talked about attending church on Sunday and I learned that the family is not currently attending church due to Natalia’s younger brother’s food allergies. We referred them to Unite TV. She was really excited about exploring this as a way to engage her kids and help them grow in their faith.  (Montevideo Good News Club)

Damon joined our Good News Club this year and we have seen him grow. As an older kid, he has been eager to help. He likes taking charge. So, we had him do the UPS rules and he did a great job. He’s loud, commands attention, and was able to go through the rules with the kids. This last week, two of his friends joined the club and they all sat together and learned about Ruth. We love seeing what the LORD is doing in Damon’s life. (Shannon Good News Club)

More powerful than roses are your act(s) of love toward the children of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

You are the love of God in action, and we praise God for you.

God bless and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Making Plans for the Summer?

Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) is just around the corner! Do you know a teen (age 13+) who has a passion for serving Jesus? Through 6 days of intensive training at our local commuter school, teens learn how to lead a 5-Day Club®, grow in their faith and vision for ministry, and develop close relationships with their peers.
