In the middle of carnival rides, corn dog stands, and monster truck rallies, CEF® had the opportunity to shine the light of Jesus at the Tehama District Fair. Using the colors of the Wordless Book, volunteers shared the hope of Jesus with 178 people, and there were 10 first-time professions of faith in Jesus!
One little girl, around 8 years of age, confidently expressed that she did not believe in Jesus, but rather in the Greek gods. After giving a clear Gospel presentation, the fair booth worker shared how the Greek gods did not do anything to show love to the little girl. Only Jesus died in her place. That is how much He loves her! She recognized the truth to this, and promised that she would consider believing in Jesus rather than the Greek gods.
The light of Jesus shines brightest in dark times. The fair gave us a unique opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus with people who might otherwise not hear it.
