“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News…”
Romans 10:15b
Because children need answers to their questions. Questions like:
- Who created God?
- Why do bad things happen in the world?
- How is it that Jesus had a mother but not a father?
- What does it mean to be “redeemed”?
- I am transgender and my friends say that I’m going to hell. Is that true?
These are real questions that we have been asked from children in various outreach events in the past year in our area. Today’s generation needs answers!
A principal told me last month about the children in her school: “These kids need Jesus!”
A doctor told me a few weeks ago: “How come I have never heard about this ministry? These kids need Jesus!”
Another man told me over Zoom recently, with passion in his voice, that we needed more funding right now to hire more staff because “These kids need Jesus!”
The Bible tells us “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News (Romans 10:15b)”. We walk to symbolize the urgent need of more beautiful feet bringing the Good News to the children. And we walk to raise the needed funds to turn the symbolic into reality, because “These kids need Jesus!”
That’s why.
It is our prayer that you will join, and urge others to join, the upcoming 5k. The details are below.

The “Beautiful Feet” 5k is only 10 weeks away! In 2022 we had 43 walkers and $16,000 total was raised. We’d love to have 100 people walking in 2023 and raise $32,000.
Will you join with us and do a 5k of your own? Walk by yourself, or grab your friends and family, and take a walk for the unreached children in your town.
Registration is $50 per person. |

Anywhere you want! In 2022 5ks took place on city trails, National Parks, college campuses, and even on treadmills. They also took place in three states (CA, NM, and HI) and in multiple localities in California. Some people walked alone, and others with teams. |

April 24-30, 2023.
Pick one day, the week of April 24, for you/your team to take your walk/run. We encourage you to take selfies and videos of your 5k and text or email them to me and I will post them, so that others can follow you, cheer you on, and join in with you to raise money for CEF!

Each registered runner will receive a CEF t-shirt prior to April 24. Many questions were asked of those who had the shirts on. Sign up by March 15, so that we can ensure you get the correct t-shirt size. |

Do your walk/run, as your schedule allows, sometime between April 24-30. Hit the trail, pound the sidewalk, round the track, or rock the treadmill! Just be sure to send me pictures of your walk so that I can post them. |
