Dear CEF extended Family,
How quickly life can change within a few days. As one who suffers with poor vision I have relied on the YouVersion app to read the Bible each day. I love the daily scripture and start my day with it every morning. I even post it everyday on my Facebook and Instagram account. I want my banner for the Lord to be higher and wider than anything else in my life. Today, they sent an encouraging prayer I want to share with you. I think it covers all the important elements we are facing and the focus for thoughts.
Please know that we are praying for all our volunteers, donors and Good News Club families. What an opportunity the Lord is giving us to demonstrate the power of prayer to one another and to those who have not yet experienced the power of God. My pastor recently did a sermon series that was so encouraging to me. One of the common themes was There is Power in the Presence of God. And, where the Presence of God is, so are His Promises! Lets proclaim this to everyone as we pray for revival locally, nationally and globally.
