Christmas Party Clubs

We were delighted and surprised that the kick off Christmas Party Club exceeded our expectations! We were prepared for 100 children but Deborah called the office for another 100. The actual attendance was 156. Praise the Lord.

The Christmas Party volunteers are pros! They work closely with individual tables so the children get personal attention and counseling.

Another day, another school, another opportunity to meet Jesus and learn who He is and what He did for each child. So grateful for how well each party has been received. Pray that parents will be moved to train and establish ongoing ministry with an After-school Good News Club!

Rosemarie Williams (1941-2022)

Rosemarie Williams demonstrated all the attributes of Philippians 4:8. She was a local committee member of our governing board and school/office volunteer for 20 years. She not only gave wisdom and oversight she demonstrated genuine concern for every staff member through the years, even after retirement from the committee. She entered the presence of the Lord on Monday, Dec. 5th. We miss her already and have shed many tears for her absence but we rejoice she is in her heavenly home. A memorial service will be held

Friday, Dec. 16, at 11:00 AM, at

Campus Bible Church, Palm Campus, 222 E. Fountain Way, Fresno.

Encourage One Another – Year End Giving

Whether you are a regular supporter, or a new friend, we welcome your investment of any amount as a year end gift for 2022. Here are some different ways you can give:

1.  Cash Gift – Most of our partners send their donations to us through the mail. Send your gift directly to the office (address below). It must be postmarked by December 31, 2022

2.  Gift of Stock – This may be an option for some and we are grateful for a relationship with the Barnabas Foundation. They do not charge CEF any fees. If you want to use this method call Tammy by December 15th.

3.  Online Gift – This is the fastest way to get your money to us. Just use the button below to give a safe and secure online gift.

SPECIAL NOTE:

A gracious donor has offered a matching gift to encourage you to help us with a year end donation. It’s the first time we have ever had a matching gift offer and this is for donations up to a total of $10,000. The timing is helpful as we strive to reach 100’s of children this month with after-school Christmas Party Clubs, four weeks of Christmas Village outreach events and launch additional Good News Clubs in the spring.

The Lord is great and mighty! He deserves our worship and praise! What comfort to KNOW He is the Victor. But our enemy is fierce and scheming, attacking us internally, personally and externally. Stand firm with us for the righteous fight to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!

Praise God for:

• The hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We praise Him for the privilege to lead children to Christ.
• The Christmas Party Clubs last week and those to be conducted this week. The children and parents have been so receptive and supportive.

Pray with us for:

• A fruitful week of ministry for the final evangelistic effort of the year. Pray for the health and safety of the volunteers, children and staff.
• Protection of the Good News Club ministry throughout the state and the nation. May no obstacles be raised for the ongoing approval of after-school ministry.
