Kids today are growing up in a world that is increasingly hostile to Christ and His values. We must realize the sobering reality that if national statistics hold true, that for every 100 kids in your community, 96 of them don’t know Jesus as their Savior. On top of that… Many are growing up in broken families of divorced or single parents… Not only are kids witnessing others close to them engaging in substance abuse, but they too are dabbling in it at younger and younger ages… From TV to social media to books to these so-called “truths” being circulated freely in society, kids are being taught that their gender is fluid, rather than the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God… Nationwide, suicide among our young people is at an all-time high. They need hope. They need Jesus. That’s where Good News Clubs come in! Good News Clubs go to where the children are, whether in schools or apartment complexes or community centers. They provide a weekly Bible club where children learn from God’s Word through Bible lessons, memory verses, fun review games and small group prayer times. Every week the Gospel is clearly presented and an invitation to believe in Jesus is given. |
