CELEBRATE AMERICA – OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY!

We are so privileged to live in the United States and enjoy the freedoms that we do! What a joy it is that we can gather together and worship our Lord freely. We are also blessed to be able to openly share the gospel with our community. Is there a better way to celebrate those freedoms than by participating in gospel outreach this Independence Day? Compass Church is hosting an exciting 4th of July celebration at the Rodeo grounds in Salinas: Celebrate America! The festival runs from 2-7pm with rides, bounce houses, food vendors and games, followed by a patriotic-themed service from 7:30-8:50 with music, medal ceremony, and Pastor Todd will share the gospel. The night will be capped off with a huge fireworks display from 9-9:30!

We are so excited that we can be a part of this event and share the gospel with the kids and families that come. We are looking for 10 volunteers who can come and serve at the CEF booth for 1 hour as we make wordless book bracelets with children and share the love of Christ with them. Come with your whole family for this exciting event, serve for one hour, and then enjoy the fireworks!

For all those who are able to serve we will have an online wordless book training on June 27th from 6-8 PM.

It’s Time to Party!

This summer we are so excited to bring CEF party clubs to a lawn near you! We have two themed party clubs that are excellent ways to bring the gospel right into your neighborhood. If you know of children and families that live around you, will you consider hosting a Party club this summer?

Our themed clubs this summer are LEGO party and Blast Off- a space themed party club. These clubs are consistent with the quality you know from CEF curriculum- always pointing children to the lifesaving truth of the gospel. They are fun and engaging and a great way to reach kids. Hosting one of these clubs is an incredible way to begin to witness to your own “Jerusalem!” Email Amy to sign up to be a host.

Our children too shall serve him, for they shall hear from us about the wonders of the Lord; generations yet unborn shall hear of all the miracles he did for us.

We are looking to hire a summer intern from mid-June through mid-August, working 10-15 hours a week helping organize and run outreach events.

We need your prayers for outreach events this summer, and we need your prayers for open doors for our Good News Clubs this fall! We know that your prayers are vital to the effectiveness of our ministry here to the Central Coast!
