The Good News Clubs Start Today!

As we start the Good News Clubs this week, think of children and their need to know and have a personal relationship with their Creator. Children are highly valued by God and He wants them to know Him, but many of them don’t even know there is a One true Creator God. They don’t know God created them and loves them. They don’t know they have sinned against God and their sin separates them from Him. So, how are they going to know? The Lord commands us to ‘diligently’ teach His Word to our children. Some children are blessed to have God loving and fearing parents/grandparents who take time to teach them about God or take them to church every Sunday, but how about those whose parents are not following Jesus? Who is going to teach them the things of God? It is the Church’s responsibility to teach children to know who God is. And we are the Church! That is why it is crucial that we go where children are, in this case the public Elementary Schools and share the good news of our Lord Jesus with them.

Will you please commit to pray for the boys and girls in the Good News Club?

Aaron, trained this amazing team on Tuesday, September 3 to volunteer in the Good News Club and they are ready to start their Club at a school we have not had the program for about 4 years. We praise the Lord for them and their willingness to share the Lord Jesus with the boys and girls. There are a lot more schools we could be in if we only had more volunteers.

Attention Ministry Partners: Good News Clubs Bibles Needed!

The Good News Clubs will start the week of September 9th in Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings counties.

We provide Bibles for each student in the Good News Club, but we are in need of more Bibles. A case of 24 Bibles is at $130.00. Will you help us make sure that every child in the Good News Club will own a Bible this year? Your donation is tax deductible. Praise God for:

  1. All the Good News clubs that are starting this week over 30 Elementary Schools and more waiting for facility use approval. We praise the Lord for the open doors to share the Gospel with the boys and girls.
  2. The volunteers and their faithfulness to share Jesus with children this year.
  3. The children who have already registered for the Good News Clubs online.
  4. The volunteers who were trained for the Good News Club last week.
  5. The parent’s willingness to sign up their children for the Good News Club and the support they offer to their children.
  6. Prayer and financial partners who diligently pray and send donations to support the ministry.
  7. All who participated the second Virtual Community Panda Express fundraiser. We raised $396.87!

Pray to God for:

  1. The parents to register their children for the Good News Club.
  2. The protection and health of the Good News Clubs volunteers.
  3. Children to be ready to hear the good news and respond to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
  4. More individuals to apply to volunteer in the Good News Club so we can can establish ministry in more schools.
  5. New business sponsors for the Good News Club Darryl Rogers Golf Tournament, at the $10,000, $5000, $2500, and $1000 level, or as a Hole Sponsor for $250 and for a sellout of golfers (144).
