One Hundred Years

It has been over 100 years since the founder of Child Evangelism Fellowship started his Children’s Bible Clubs! What an honor to be able to take part in an amazing legacy that was started so very long ago. Mr. Overholtzer was so passionate about God’s heart for children because he had experienced first-hand the change that God works in hearts that are surrendered to Him. This week, several of our Good News Clubs started back up. As we walked onto campus we were greeted with enthusiastic calls of “You’re Back!” Children know that Good News Club is a special place where they will feel truly loved. The first week of club, our Bible verse was Psalm 139:14, I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. What an important truth to imbue in these precious hearts! Our Good News Clubs are so important, and we know that God is working through each club and each volunteer!

Please continue to pray for our Good News Clubs, and that God would bring in more volunteers for our outreach circle to grow.

Pumpkin Carving

Do you enjoy carving a pumpkin? It’s a fun fall activity, but did you know that you can use the steps of carving a pumpkin to share the gospel?! This fall we have been asked to participate in 4 different Fall outreaches and we are so excited! We need a total of 12 volunteers to help share the gospel at these fun Fall events. The dates are October 12th – 3 volunteers, October 26th – 6 volunteers, and October 31st – 3 volunteers. These outreaches are always such a fun time and so impactful for the Kingdom! The harvest is ready, help us labor in God’s field.

We will be hosting a Zoom training on Tuesday October 8th from 6-7 to learn our special Fall Themed Gospel presentation.

Give the Best Gift this Christmas!

Are you looking for something meaningful for your Sunday School class, small group, or family to do this Christmas? At Christmas we frequently look to give of our time and energy to show the love of Christ. Why not volunteer as a group in one of our Christmas Party Clubs?! These Party clubs are so much fun and share the true meaning of Christmas.

Will you join us this Christmas season to share the good news of great joy with children through Christmas Party Clubs? You can reach children in your neighborhood by hosting a party in your home or church. You could host a CPC at an elementary school, daycare, apartment complex, or anywhere that children gather.

Then, don’t limit yourself to just one club. Consider how God can use you to reach the children with the true meaning of Christmas – the good news of great joy.

Will you tell the children this Christmas season so they will know that Jesus is truly the greatest gift of all?Jesus will forgive their sins, give them eternal life, and make them children of God!

Hiring a Ministry Coordinator!

We are so excited to be opening up the position of ministry coordinator! Having the right person in this role will enable us to push into new territory, make new connections and reach even more children with the good news.

Our ideal candidate loves the Lord and children, is energetic, motivated, and self-driven, comfortable presenting about the ministry, and teaching others when needed.

We would also love someone who is bilingual, as connecting with Spanish speaking believers is a goal of our local chapter. This is currently a part-time position with flexible hours- including the ability to work from home when needed. Overtime the position would transition into full-time. We are praying for just the right candidate to come and serve with us!
