Chelsea Cummins
State Director
The Lord first called to be a missionary at age 14 through Christian Youth in Action Camp® (a missionary training camp of CEF®). In 2016, that calling became clear as the Lord called me to be a local CEF missionary. Now years later, I am blessed to serve all of our faithful missionaries and volunteers throughout Northern California. One of my favorite things about CEF is training more people how to share the powerful gospel message with the largest and most open mission field – the children! I have been married to my incredible husband, Shaun, for over twenty years and have four awesome kids (Shaylin, Chloe, Liam, and Alanna). I love tea, cats, playing games, leading youth group with Shaun, and traveling.

I am so blessed to be a part of CEF serving the Lord by supporting Chelsea and our Local Chapters as they share the Gospel with kids all around NorCal. I have spent many years of my life doing ministry and attending Bible College all over the world, now I am married the most amazing man in the world and we have two beautiful children. My favorite things in the world (besides my wonderful little family) are Jesus, coffee, and Star Wars.

I have had the honor and joy of serving in church ministry development for over a decade. Ministry is not simply what I do, it is a calling that shapes how I live, lead, and love others. My greatest support and anchor in this journey is my husband, Jake, who serves as the lead pastor of Foundation Church. Together, we are committed to serving Christ faithfully and walking alongside others in discipleship.
We are blessed with five children; three who are now living on their own, and two who are still at home: Aaliyah, who is 12, and Zakiah, who is 11. As a wife, mother, and ministry leader, my heart is deeply invested in loving the next generation and helping them grow in their understanding of who Jesus is.
My desire is to reach every child in the community where Christ places me and to share the Gospel faithfully and joyfully each day. I see my role as planting seeds of truth, hope, and love; trusting God to do the work of growth in His perfect timing. As Scripture reminds us, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth” (1 Corinthians 3:6, ESV)
