One afternoon we were at the Shasta District Fair making Gospel bracelets with kids. Three teenage girls sat down. Though they had some knowledge about Jesus and were open to hearing about him, it became apparent that they had never made a commitment to trust in Jesus as their Savior.
After I finished sharing the Gospel with them, I asked them if anything stood out to them. One of the girls responded, “I had never heard about my sin and Jesus being put together. It makes so much sense!” The two other girls nodded in agreement.
I explained to them about how we can have eternal life with God and find forgiveness by turning from our sins and putting our trust in Jesus. This is the most important decision a person will ever make!
“What’s keeping you from making this decision?” I asked.
The three girls looked at each and then in unison responded, “Nothing!”
That day, there at the fair, was the day of salvation for them.
