Summer Field Missionary Job Description
General responsibilities:
Work with the Director by teaching in ministry settings directly with children and youth in 5-Day Club®, CYIA™, and Party Clubs. and establish relationships to encourage workers.
Specific responsibilities:
1. Recruit volunteers, especially college-aged/young adults, to join the ministry and expand the volunteer resources for ministry.
2. Promote and develop ministry relationships to advance the ministry through personal, prayerful
and financial support.
3. Attend all CEF-sponsored meetings and functions, including State Staff Meetings.
4. Support fundraising activities of the Chapter and promote CEF throughout your sphere of influence.
5. Support all ministry activities and work as a team.
6. Work independently in assigned areas, proficient in communication (written and oral), and capable with email, Word, PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Drive.
7. *Be involved in the chapter and personal support fundraising.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Be a mature Christian with a demonstrated love of Jesus Christ.
2. In good standing with the local church.
3. Confident about calling to minister to children.
4. Willing to abide by the purpose and policies of CEF.
5. Be a continual learner, a relevant strategist, love people, and demonstrate an understanding of how to lead and build a team that is diverse in skills, experience, and culture.
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
7. Clean driving record with reliable transportation.
8. 18 years old or older.
