Many children are drawn to Superhero’s and they are engrained in their minds. They are not only entertained by them but, children also trust superheros to be true and powerful. In the picture above Arianna Knee, Field Missionary, Emma Lien, and Emma Foster are leaving for ministry at Westgate Garden Apartments for a Superhero” party. But are Superhero’s real? “Fairy tales and superhero epics are resplendent with magic and miraculous deeds of strength and accomplishment. It’s a world where nothing is impossible. Even mere mortals who happen into the realm can, if gifted by supreme powers, achieve legendary feats of their own. Alas, these are only stories of entertainment. There are no fairy godmothers, and as much as we would like Superman to come to our rescue, he won’t. But our God is faithfully miraculous and all-powerful. From creation to parting of the Red Sea, from Jesus’ birth to His resurrection, He performs the supernatural regularly.” Cayla Winger But who is the REAL Superhero? There is only One True Superhero, and His Name is the Lord Jesus! The Bread of life! The Light of the world! The door! The Good Shepherd! The Resurrection and Life! The Way, the Truth and the Life! And the True Vine! This is the One and Only True Superhero! The Lord who is worth our praise. The One every child deserves and needs to learn and know who He is and what He has done for them. Year to date, we have reached 3822 children with the Gospel and 1021 made profession of faith, but there are so many more who have not had this opportunity. Please join us in prayer that more children will be reached with the good news of Jesus. |
