Christ…

The Greatest Gift

As the year comes to an end, we want to thank you for your love, prayers, volunteer hours and financial sacrifices. We are overjoyed to be meeting on school campuses and plan to expand to many more in the spring. Your willingness to share and support this ministry is a great testimony of God’s faithfulness. With the opposition toward the gospel in our culture, we need your strongest prayer support now more than ever. Children need an eternal perspective of hope knowing our loving Lord and Savior is preparing a place for us with Him.

The Lord is preparing hearts for Christmas and we trust that doors will be open for many opportunities to share the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ with children across the valley in the next two weeks. Please join us in prayer that the Lord of the harvest will draw many children to Himself. Wouldn’t that be a great gift this Christmas?

Inyo County…New Territory for Ministry

We are humbled and excited to announce the launch of Good News Club ministry in Inyo County. The very first Good News Club in the county! Praise the Lord! The team is screened, trained, excited and ready to start in January. This is an answer to prayer for many years. Now, we get to see the fruit of God’s faithfulness. Please pray for the team, a great enrollment and start.

We believe the Lord has opened the door in this county, in His timing starting with one elementary school. We have great hope and expectation that He will do the same for other elementary schools. We trust Him!

Evangelize, Disciple and Establish

Good News Family Night Testimony by Lynnese Castle – Staff

The purpose of CEF is to 1) evangelize children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, 2) disciple them in the Word of God, and 3) establish them in a local, Bible-teaching church. Recently, two Good News Club (GNC) teams from my home church invited the families from our respective clubs to an event called Good News Club Family Fun Night. Two Growth Groups from our church came together to support the event and provided a delicious pasta and meat-ball meal with dessert. Real linens, table decorations and glassware were used to make the families feel special. Additionally, every family received a family portrait. The children performed songs they learned in the GNC and shared what they like or have learned in the club. Fifteen families came, totaling 60 people!! Additionally, a clear Gospel presentation was shared so all heard the good news of Jesus! It was a joyous occasion!

This is one way the Good News Club ministry, along with a supportive church, can love on families, meet needs and share Jesus in a real and practical way. Every family who came left with full tummies and hearts. The children learn about Jesus in the clubs and this is one way we can introduce Him to the parents too and hopefully see them again at church. The plan is to continue with these special events. Praise the Lord!
