News from our Director

The temperature has finally risen after a cold and wet winter. As we thaw out under the warm sun, we can’t help but begin to look to our summer plans. What’s your summer plan this year? What about your children and teens?

Overseas missions may be exciting and life changing, but do you know it can be just as exciting and life changing to be a missionary right here? The Bay Area has become a mission field as people from all over the world come to find jobs in the technology sector. Did you know the children in

the San José Unified School District speak more than 90 different languages at home? The majority of our neighbors don’t know who Jesus is.

In June, we train teens and adults to be missionaries right where we live through Christian Youth In Action (CYIA), and send them off to parks, community centers and apartment complexes to share the gospel through 5-Day Clubs. Teens and adults can be missionaries right in their own neighborhood! It is the most cost-effective way to raise up the next generation of evangelists.

What’s your summer going to look like this year? You can make a difference for the Kingdom through CYIA and 5-Day Clubs. Everyone is invited to be involved in changing our community with the gospel—one child at a time! Not ready to be a missionary? Consider hosting a 5-Day Club at your home or church. Christian Youth in Action^TM

Serving Christ is an adventure, and it can be a whole lot of fun! Christian Youth In Action is a week-long program that trains & equips teens and adults to present the Gospel in 5-Day Clubs^®—through Bible Lessons, Missionary Stories & more! Clubs are held for one hour each day, for five days & are taught using CEF materials. 5–Day Clubs are hosted in churches, parks, community centers, and in homes – bringing the Word of God straight to children and their families! Come join us & make a difference for Christ!

June 15, 17 – 21, 2024

Saturday 8:30 am—4:00 pm; Mon, Wed, Thurs 8:25 am—5:30 pm;

Tues, Fri 8:25 am—7:30 pm (dinner included)

$200—includes all materials ($160 if payment received by May 31)

A $10 non-refundable deposit must accompany application.

Balance is due by June 3, 2024.

Registration required by June 3. No late registrations will be accepted.
