Children Of God

 We are so thankful for the children the Lord is directing to the Good News Club! We now have 76 schools with active ministry or approved for ministry. Plus, we have 1,033 children enrolled. Every volunteer with CEF commits to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every session of Club, with an invitation to believe in Jesus so they can become His child. We want the children to understand that going to church doesn’t save you, being raised in a Christian home doesn’t save you… Only when you believe who Jesus is and what He did for you and receive Him as your Lord and Savior, can you be saved.  

 Truthfully, many adults need to hear this too. It’s not too late, if you are awake and breathing, you can make the decision to tell Jesus you are sorry for your sins and to thank Him for taking your place on the cross so that your sins will be forgiven. It can be challenging to share your faith but there is nothing more important. Ask the Lord to draw you to the person He wants you to share the Gospel with and trust Him to guide you.  

 Another opportunity is to bring a friend to the MIND READER movie event! The tickets are only $10 and all will hear the Gospel of Jesus clearly. This gives you an opportunity to talk afterwards and encourage them. Use the link to buy your tickets today!

These precious children attend a Fresno After School Good News Club on Thursdays. Last week, all three of them responded to the invitation to believe in Jesus as their Savior. They all went for counseling to affirm their understanding that believing in Jesus is the one and only way to have their sins forgiven because He is the perfect, sinless Son of God. They know He lives and will return again! They are truly Children of God! 

Bibles for Kids!

God’s Word

These young boys are following along with the memory verse as they are being taught from the Bible.  We all know the Bible is the most important text book, of all time.  

Children need their own Bible, especially when they can read so they will develop a habit of reading God’s Word and learning more about Him.  Please pray with us that the Bibles that were due to be delivered last week, but now have a December 30, 2022 delivery date, will arrive in November before the Clubs end so they will have their own to take home!

Outreach at Holmes Park

Saturday, Oct. 22.  These events help us reach children throughout the area.

167 children heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  Sixteen professed faith in Jesus as Lord.

Our Superhero team, all trained volunteers, introduced many children to Jesus.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the gift we give to children and their families at outreach events.

This amazing team served the Lord with gladness on Saturday and their reward will be great!

Pray for these families and their faith so that they will surrender their life to Jesus and experience Him daily.

Praise & Prayer

Praise God with us for:

1. His Word which is trustworthy and reliable! All who believe and receive can become a child of God.
2. Additional schools being requested for next semester and all the children attending existing schools.
3. Faithful volunteers giving their time and talent to reach children for Christ!  How grateful we are for outreach events which allows us to reach more children than we can in Good News Club.

Please pray with us for:

1. For wisdom and compassion, especially in the large Clubs, for volunteers to loving provide correction and maintain an environment of order so all children will benefit from the teaching.  
2. Many people to buy their movie tickets this week. What a great opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a friend or loved one. Help us make this an evangelistic outreach.
3. Manageable circumstances for all of us struggling with the inflationary pressures of our economy and the cultural unrest throughout our communities. May God’s will be sought and may we keep our eyes on Him.
