Fall Harvest

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! John 4:35
  I hope you are enjoying the change in weather and the spots of rain we have received so far! As our staff was sharing lunch last week, the comment was made that the rain is good right now and ok for the harvest. It made me think about the Harvest Festivals our volunteers and staff supported on October 31. There were outreach booths in Fresno and in Lyndsay and in Reedley! From these events, all in one evening, 379 children heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and 42 made first-time professions of faith!

God’s Word is true, the harvest is ready now for everyone who will believe and receive His free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. So many children in elementary school have never been to church, or Sunday School, and do not have anyone at home to tell them about Jesus. We are grateful for every volunteer who willingly trains and serves to reach children for Christ.

Sometimes costumes can be scary, but inside is a child that needs to know they are loved by God and created perfectly in His image!
Kids can learn about Jesus anytime, anywhere if someone it trained how to share the Gospel of Jesus Chrit with them. Encourage your friends to apply and train so they can join us reaching children throughout the Valley.

Good News – We have room for more!

We have room for more guests so continue to spread the word about tonight’s movie. You can pay at our theater, #10, inside Regal Edwards Theater at Riverpark Shopping Center. Tickets are $10 per person. Proceeds help us purchase Bibles for children in Good News Club.

A Bible of their very own…

 

Many homes do not have a Bible at all. When the children come to Good News Club and actually get a Bible to keep for their very own, it is a special day.

It’s especially great when they profess faith in Jesus and we can not only place their name in their Bible, but also the date of their spiritual birthday!

God’s Word

When children can learn to use their own Bible and follow the lesson, they are more likely to return to that passage again. We pray that children will be led by the Holy Spirit to read the lesson and look up the memory verse and pray to the Lord for understanding. This is the beginning of their faith walk and we are so glad the Lord has opened the door at so many schools this school year!

Praise & Prayer
Praise God with us for:

 

  1. Harvest fields ripe and ready at schools and in the community. We praise Him for open doors to reach children for Christ.
  2. Approval for yet another school, Springville Elementary in the south valley. We are grateful for the team of volunteers and the positive reception to flyer distribution that took place las week.
  3. The change in seasons and the forecast of more rain and snow in the mountains. May the Lord continue to provide for our parched and weary ground.

Please pray with us for:

  1. For a strong response at the Springville Good News Club.   May many children be enrolled and even more volunteers be raised up for the team.
  2. New volunteer applicants to be raised up for Lyndsay so that more schools can be opened up and more children learn about Jesus, who He is and what He did for them.
  3. Many to attend and be blessed by tonight’s movie event, Mind Reader, at Regal Edwards Theater. May those who attend be reminded of the need for a personal relationship with Jesus and may some be willing to help us purchase Bibles for the children.
