We are so excited to report that at a recent Good News Club three students put their faith in the Lord Jesus! Please be praying with us for these sweet kids as they grow in knowledge and grace. One student, a 5th grader, was also given her first Bible! What a joy to put the word of God into the hands of a young believer. May His Word establish her faith and joy.

All who are thirsty- come!

The kids who come to club each week are thirsty for truth. They are amazed to hear directly from God’s word of His great love for them, of His control over all situations, and of His willingness to forgive when we confess our sins to Him. One very enthusiastic 2nd grader was asked to pick a “gem” of truth from the pile. He picked 1 John 1:9, and we explained to him how God promises to forgive us always, when we confess our sin to Him. “Woah! God knew I needed to hear that, I lied to my sister today!” Please continue in prayer for these sweet, soft, hearts.

CEF World Day of Prayer

We invite you to join us in prayer this Wednesday, November 1st as we pray for God’s hand of blessing on CEF’s ministry around the world. As we faithfully strive to bring the gospel to every child on the Central Coast, we have brothers and sisters around the world serving God faithfully among the children in their communities. In Israel, right now, CEF is bringing the hope of Jesus to children who are scared and overwhelmed by the effects of war. CEF is active in so many countries where tensions and pains are high, proclaiming to children that the only anchor for their souls is our Lord and Savior. We pray for these faithful servants.

Joy to the World!

Christmas is a fun and exciting time! There is always so much to do and enjoy. And yet, Christmas is so much more than just a season or holiday. It is a yearly celebration of the birth of the Savior of the World. Because of this it is a critical time for evangelism! We want to make the most of this season by reaching children with the true meaning of Christmas this year. And we need help! We have been asked again to share the gospel at Streets of Bethlehem in Salinas. This is a HUGE event, with thousands who come. Can you serve one night with us? The dates are December 7-10.

We are also hosting a big Christmas Party club in Seaside this year at Monterey Bay Christian School. We would love to have you volunteer with that event. Please respond to this email if you can serve with us this Christmas season!
