Ready, Set, Go!

We had a great gathering of young people complete their training last week for summer ministry. They aged from 11 to 18 years old and all were enthusiastic learners. We were so glad to see last years missionaries return as well!

There are events every week that will give us an opportunity to reach children for Christ. We expect a fun and exciting summer and pray for a good harvest!

A year Later…

Arianna Knee, Field Missionary, is here for her second summer. Last Wednesday, at Frank H. Ball Park, she saw a young girl from last year. They got to visit and the girl still has the Bible we gave her. Arianna remembered she had been eager to memorize verses and how she had practiced last year. When Arianna asked her about it, she promptly recited John 3:16. It was a sweet experience for both of them.

On this night, 42 children heard the Good News about Jesus and

7 made professions of faith in Jesus as their Savior.

Praying for the Superhero’s

Before everything got going on Wednesday, a young boy was visiting with the team. When he heard who they were and what they were going to do, he asked if he could pray for them. What a sweet moment we captured of the prayer time.

Feeding Fresno, Feeding Souls

On Saturday, June 15, our team was busy at Radio Park. Cornerstone Church sponsors the Feeding Fresno outreach and we love to join them to feed souls. On this day, 32 children heard about Jesus, who He is and what He did for them.

Kids Love Superhero’s

We have several object lessons that are attractive to children for community outreach. This is critical to draw their attention and helpful to transition to the Gospel. On Saturday, this team even had a Father – Daughter pair of Superhero’s: Brian and Maddie Villarama!

Praise God with us for:

1. Each student who trained last week to reach children for Christ. May this summer experience be the first step in a life time of sharing the Gospel.
2. The joy of seeing children from the previous year and her love for Jesus is growing day by day.
3. The privilege to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every beautiful child we meet!

Pray with us for:

1. The events scheduled this week and that there will be many children at each site.
2. Financial support for summer missions and stable donations through the summer months.
3. A strong opening week for the Good News Club Darryl Rogers Golf Tournament.
4. Good News Ambassador’s to help promote and recruit sponsors for the golf event.
