The Impact of Christian Youth In Action Camp by first-year student Evelyn Farley

“CYIA Camp is different from other summer camps. It has tricky assignments but it is the best camp I have gone to! One of my favorite parts was meeting other teens that take their faith seriously and that enjoy telling kids about Jesus as much as I do! The days at camp are hard but there are people who will help if you ask. I am so thankful for the staff and other teens that helped support me. Everyone is so kind!!! I learned how to present the Wordless Book to kids and how to do Good News Clubs. This camp made it so I can speak in front of people on my own. Before camp I would never have dreamed of going in front of strangers. I have already worked two shifts at a fair booth. I was able to tell 6 kids about Jesus. We got to dress up like superheroes and tell the story of the best superhero Jesus. I love CYIA.”

Join a Good News Club Team!

Our Good News Club team volunteers are the heartbeat of this ministry. They respond to the call that the Lord has placed on their hearts to bring the Gospel to the children in their community.

Becoming a Good News Club volunteer starts with training. You’ll learn how we do what we do AND why do we do it the way that we do it. In this six-hour training course you’ll learn:

How to share the Gospel with children
How to teach an evangelistic Bible lesson
How to counsel a child for salvation
How to make a memory verse memorable and meaningful
How to launch your Good News Club

After the training, we’ll help guide you through our volunteer application process as well as place you on a team to reach the kids that GOD has placed on YOUR heart!

We are so excited to invite Sherry Van Fossen out of Crescent City to our team of Field Missionaries. Sherry has already been actively involved in the ministry of CEF with recruiting new volunteers and helping establish new Good News Clubs. Through her efforts, FIVE Good News Clubs were able to begin in Crescent City within one year. Amazing! Sherry is a joy to serve Jesus alongside and I look forward to seeing what the Lord does as we move her into a more official capacity!
