When schools closed in March we not only began filming and posting Bible lessons, memory verses, missionary stories and devotions on our Youtube channel, but I needed to email as many Good News Club families as possible to make them aware of these resources. Over the months, I have mailed weekly notices to families with a message to the boys and girls reaching over 2,400 families. I experienced such joy this week when one mom sent this reply to my email from last week:
Thank you so much for this! I never really opened these emails as I didn’t know where they came from, but when I saw the words good news club then I opened it, and so happy I did! My daughter was in the good news club at Cole Elementary. I have a 5 year old boy and an 8 year old girl and they miss our church and all the normalcy in life. And I wish you could’ve seen my daughter as we did the song as she truly misses the good news club. My kids prayed the prayer and we did the lesson and song. I hope and pray I’ll keep receiving these emails. Thank you again for all you guys do. God bless you all and your ministry!
How grateful I am that the Lord would let me know how much they were enjoying the content and that both children prayed confessing faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior! We don’t always know the impact of our effort, but we must persevere, trusting that as we are obedient to share the Gospel the Holy Spirit will do the actual work. Please pray for this family as well as the many others who receive the weekly emails that they will open and read it and that Holy Spirit will reveal Himself to them so that they might begin an eternal relationship with Him now.
