Meet the Staff of Central Coast
Local Director- Kjierstin Beck
Kjierstin was raised right here in Monterey County! She loves living next to the bay, and dreams of actually seeing a whale someday. Her heart and passion are to see kids come to know the love of God and she is thrilled to be called to serve as the CEF® director for the Central Coast. Kjierstin is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, with a degree in missions and communications. She has been married for ten years to her husband, Jonathan, and they have 5 children! The whole family is looking forward to serving the children of the Central Coast through the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Office Administrator- Amy Gilbert
Amy Gilbert was also raised here in Monterey, her favorite place on earth. Amy has a beautiful spirit and an amazing mind for detail. She has been a huge blessing to us already and we are so excited to see how God will use her to keep our office running like a well oiled machine.
Field Missionary- Hannah Baker
Hannah Baker is from the Bay Area but currently lives in Monterey County. She is attending California State University Monterey Bay and majoring in Human Development and Family Science. She feels a strong call on her life to spread the Gospel to children and one day be a travelling missionary. Hannah is immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve the Central Coast and is looking forward to the connections she is going to make.
Spanish Ministry Coordinator- Nereida Figueroa
Nereida is from Puerto Rico. She is the mother of three adult children, whom she guided to the gospel and who have now started their own families. Ten years ago, she moved to Salinas, California, married to Dardine E. Soto, and she is in love with the climate and topography of this place. She is passionate about children and is filled with testimonies that have allowed her to see God’s grace and mercy in every aspect of her life. She is very excited to see all that God will do with this beautiful Ministry.
