The Gospel IS the power of God for salvation!

Romans 1:16 says that “the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” yet I’m always so awestruck to hear how it truly transforms lives!

One day I received a phone call from the fellow CEF Director in Salinas, who was excited to share an awesome story with me. While wearing her Good News Club shirt at a store, an older couple stopped her to share that their family had been impacted by the Good News Club ministry up in Red Bluff.

Their grandson attending Good News Club was nothing short of a miracle, since his dad was hostile towards Jesus and his mom was indifferent. It was there at the Good News Club that the grandson heard the Gospel and chose to receive Jesus as His Savior! Now he’s excited to return this year and is wanting to take steps of growth in his walk with the Lord!
