Spring is a time for renewal, physically and spiritually

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:13-14
Everything in life is ultimately temporary, except for two things. One is the souls of people and the other is the Word of God. In fact, besides God Himself those two things are the only ones that will outlast the planet we live on. So, everything else is ultimately temporary. Take the seasons of the year for instance. Seasons teach us that the one constant in life is change.
It seems that when life reveals the need for physical change and hopefully growth, the spiritual side of us also has opportunity to grow. You see, while our soul lasts forever, we still have opportunity to grow and hopefully become more like the one who made us.
In Philippians 3:13, Paul encourages the reader to forget “what lies behind” and strain “forward to what lies ahead.” He goes on to encourage the reader with his own story. He writes, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
So, no matter your past, or even your current situation, realize that seasons come and go, and you too can “press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
We want to thank all of you who continue with your faithful monthly financial donation to the ministry. Please know that we are still reaching children, just through a different methodology. We can’t meet face to face right now, but we may be reaching even more children and their entire family with our Youtube channel and weekly videos of Bible lessons, Memory Verses, Devotionals and Missionary stories.
  • For YOUTUBE! We had 107 new subscribers in March and are now up to 144. There were 1,935 views of our videos – that could represent 1 to 3 to several people at a single viewing. It adds up to over 3,478 minutes watched of our Bible lessons, Memory Verses, Devotionals, Songs, and Missionary Stories. That’s a lot to celebrate from our Lord.
  • That no one has been terminated within CEF NorCal at this time. We continue to depend on faithful donors for ongoing support of staff and all ministry supplies, including rent.
  • All the avenues of celebrating Easter with electronic means. I saw Franklin Graham preach at Central Park in New York, then I went to Dallas Texas with Dr. Jeffress and then returned to Fresno to watch my home church, Via. Dr. Jeffress reported today that over 7,000 people responded online that they had made a commitment of faith in Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday!
  • To heal our land, and our world of the corona virus. To heal those who are personally suffering and allow them to recover fully. To protect all healthcare workers, grocery staff and those who deliver goods and foods locally and around the world. So many people we have taken for granted over the years. May they feel loved and appreciated and maintain their health.
  • To increase the number of people subscribing and tuning into our Youtube channel. May we be creative and fresh with our delivery so that children will want to continue to tune in.
  • To lead our President and his advisers to make wise decisions as we transition back to a new normal of work and allow people to work again as soon as possible.
